Helping Uber Eats cut through with a distinctive platform and Aussie sense of humour in a crowded competitive category.

With financial pressure rising, value matters to Australians. It’s now the #1 reason people switch to a competitor and the biggest barrier to ordering food online. That’s a challenge for Uber Eats, a brand loved by many but often seen as the most expensive in the category.

To shift that perception, we created Ding Dong Deals, a new retail platform designed to make Uber Eats synonymous with great value.

We tapped into the brand’s iconic doorbell sound and turned it into something more: a cheeky censorship device. Because the deals on Uber Eats are so unexpectedly good, people can’t help but swear.

With Ding Dong Deals, Uber Eats had a consistent, recognisable way to communicate offers across every channel (in-app, digital, social, radio and OOH).

The campaign was designed to grab the attention of light users and multi-app switchers - the ones most likely to chase a better offer.

Great value. Big offers. And a reaction you can’t quite say out loud.
